Pete Gallego - Lie Early, Lie Often

Taking a page out of the Obama playbook, Pete Gallego has determined the only thing the voters of the 23rd Congressional District need to hear is lies from his campaign.

You would think after 20 years as a State Representative in Austin, this career-politician would have something positive to say about his life’s work . . .apparently not.

And sadly, it is all too clear that the good folks of our area will have to endure Gallego’s Barack Obama strategy of “Lie Early and Lie Often”. Perhaps he has been convinced by his Washington handlers that if anyone actually believes him, it’s a good day.

Gallego has recently claimed that I support “insider trading” of stocks for Members of Congress.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Not only did I vote to stop insider trading as part of the Rules of the House of Representatives, I also introduced House Resolution 480 which would amend the Rules of the House of Representatives and expressly ban Members from using non-public information obtained through the office or position they hold to trade financial securities.

  • I introduced this bill as a rules change for the House of Representatives because if it was passed in the House, it would immediately take affect – no need to watch Harry Reid sit on his hands anymore.

There is no question that the next year is going to full of nastiness from Pete Gallego. Frankly, I have confidence that the folks of our area will see right through it, but we can’t take any chances, and that is why I need your help today.

With your generous support, when Pete Gallego tells lies about my record, we will have the resources to tell the truth about his – think about it, twenty years in Austin fighting for liberal policies, there is plenty he doesn’t want you to know about.

Please stand with us TODAY with your contribution of $25, $50, $100, or $200 so we can continue to fight for our liberty, our Constitution, and for more limited government solutions.

With Great Respect,

Francisco Canseco
