The Spanish-language Republican address
![]() |
Tonight, it is my privilege to deliver the Spanish-language Republican address to the Nationfollowing President Obama’s State of the Union address tonight. I hope you will join me onUnivision, Telemundo, CNN en español, or TV Azteca. The Hispanic community is vital to the future of the United States and the Republican Party and as the son of Mexican immigrants, I am honored to have been selected by Speaker John Boehner to deliver the Spanish-language response.
I have repeatedly voted against raising taxes on small business owners and I sponsored a Constitutional amendment to balance the budget. The future of our country is at stake and we need to be clear – our principles are strong and they are conservative. I not only vote for limited government, less federal spending, lower taxes and a strong defense – I FIGHT FOR THOSE PRINCIPLES. Our economy is struggling and American families want solutions, and tonight I will share those solutions for cutting spending, reforming government and creating a better environment for private-sector growth.
I hope you will join me this evening.
